You have the gear the comes with the edition of the game you bought. Is this just them resetting the game and everyone is back at "0"? Some of the upgrades you can't lose you start with more reputation with traders, bigger stash, bigger secure container (loot you put in this you dont lose upon death) As a new player, I'm afraid ill get the upgrades and just lose the shit immediately. I don’t know if it’s that rare or we’re just insanely unlucky, but there are others out there who share your misery. I’m sure if you ran labs more you’d have a higher chance of finding one, but my personal survival rate on labs is <20% so I don’t want to torture myself with finding one and then dying. Have found countless COFDMs and VPXs, but this damn Virtex is straight up elusive. Off of spawn I run to the nearest possible spawn (merin, hillside house, either of the chalets) and then reset. The one I found was in the Hillside House duffel bag, and I’ve been primarily running LH looking for it. I have found one Virtex this wipe (and extracted with it, thank fuck) but have not seen another one since. I don’t really have much advice, just wanted to sympathize with you on this because I am level 52 and in the same scenario, lol. 4.6 (MP7) is really the king, FMJ beats class 4 rapidly, cheap and available from the traders, although reduced a little recently, APSX is craftable but low damage is pretty bad, 2 shot to head and 3 shot to the chest to kill. 5.7 took a hit too but SS193 is just good enough. 45acp is similar, AP is craftable but expensive and low quantity. SMGs are in a pretty bad state, 9mm has its good ammo flea banned, can only buy 90x 6.3ap and the craft for it and PBP are expensive and don't give much ammo. Banned rounds are 7.62bp and MAI AP, M856A1 and up, M80 and up, AP SX, 7.62x54r BT and up, etc.
